What to Expect
Group Home care provides essential support for individuals who have intellectual or developmental disabilities, or facing challenges that limit their ability to function independently. As part of this role, you can expect to assist with a variety of responsibilities, including but not limited to:
Mobility Assistance – Supporting residents with safe movement and transfers.
Meal Preparation – Preparing and serving balanced, nutritious meals.
Personal Care Support – Assisting with dressing, bathing, grooming, and hygiene needs.
Light Housekeeping – Maintaining a clean, safe, and organized living environment.
Errand Assistance – Completing essential errands such as grocery shopping or appointments.
Medication Reminders – Prompting and assisting residents with their prescribed medications.
Daily Living Support – Providing help with various day-to-day activities to enhance independence and quality of life.
